Tiber and Canyon Ferry are mussel positive! Although there are no laws prohibiting landing in these places, extra caution should be exercised and decontamination would be necessary prior to entering other water bodies.

SPA’s Water Landing Directory now includes the AIS data for water bodies in MT. While there are only two currently with known mussels, many have different kinds of plants. Remember to clean before leaving . . .

Invasive Species Stickers are required for resident vessels, however there is no provision at this time for seaplanes.
